Meet the Dentists
Dr. Frank Bonno
To fully appreciate the academic experience and dedication that Dr. Frank Bonno has brought to Santa Fe Dental Associates may require several sessions in his chair. He is always approachable and treats each patient as his next new friend. After over 25 years of practice in the Santa Fe area, he has a valuable detailed memory on patient’s treatments, issues and family history. When you have an investment in a small community the rewards are keeping in touch with your patients; watching the children grow up and treating them again when they are back from college or home to see their parents. He has a genuine interest in his patients and their families.
His quest to serve began in Houston at Robert E. Lee High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology at Texas A&M University. He became a Licensed Pharmacist by earning a Postgraduate Degree at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. In 1985 he completed his Dental Degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. In 1982, Dr. Bonno married his lovely wife, Debbie, and found time to raise three children; Christina, Claire, and Frank Jr. Dr. Bonno purchased the practice of Holbert Lang DDS in 1988. Soon the office became too small, which resulted in forming Santa Fe Dental Associates with Dr. Dwayne Fontenot in 2003. At the current location there are now three Dentists and twelve Support Staff.
Dr. Bonno is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Greater Houston Dental Society. With little leisure time, he loves to gather family and friends around the table, share and display his Italian culinary skills and appetite for life. Outside of spending time with friends and family he is an avid reader and enjoys hunting.

But most of all, he strives to help his patients achieve the smiles they desire. Be True To Your Teeth or They’ll Be False To You!
