Q) It’s Sunday and I have a dental emergency. Can you help?
When you call our regular office number after hours and are a patient of record, you can access the dentists’ emergency phone numbers through our answering service.
Q) My temporary dental crown came out or broke. Is this an emergency?
If your temporary dental restoration is lost or broken, we do encourage you to seek treatment as soon as possible. Call our office, and if it’s after hours, you’ll find our emergency numbers through our answering service. Once we discuss your situation with you, we can determine the right next step.
Q) I’m afraid of the dentist! What should I do?
It often only takes one bad experience to make you afraid of the dentist for years to come, and you may have heard a friend or relative tell a story about a negative appointment at the dental office. But we want to assure you that today’s dentistry offers greater comfort than ever before. At Santa Fe Dental Associates, we are determined to make sure that our patients enjoy comfortable, modern dentistry. We also offer anti-anxiety medication, as well. So if you’re afraid of the dentist, contact us and talk to us about your concerns. We will find a way to help you get beyond your fears to experience excellent oral health!
Q) How often do I need to visit the office for a checkup?
For those who want to achieve and maintain optimal dental health, we recommend two checkups per year. If you need more treatment than that, we can recommend a treatment plan. We do our best to help our patients remember their regular visits with reminder postcards and courtesy calls – all you have to do is show up! If it’s been more than six months since your last dental visit, contact us for an appointment.
Q) Do you accept dental insurance?
Santa Fe Dental Associates are a Delta Premier provider. We will file any PPO and will work with them to determine your benefits and file the claims on your behalf. We always do our best to maximize benefits. If you have questions about financing and payments, please give us a call!
Q) What payment options do you accept?
Our office accepts cash, check, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover. We also accept CareCredit, a third-party financing option. CareCredit can provide financing for 100% of your dental care with no upfront costs. To learn more, visit https://www.carecredit.com.
